The Party Hall is an important part of VISIONCON and has been for nearly 20 years. We now have 2 separate areas designated for room parties. One is for parties that serve alcohol the other for parties that don't.

Why Register a Party?

If a person preregisters a party they (and any members of their staff up to a total of 5) will be given a discounted membership equal to the rate that idividual club members pay (in 2010 that rate is $30.00).

In order to qualify for this discount the following guidelines must be met:
|
| • They must agree to have their party in the designated VISIONCON party area • They must follow all of the below listed Party Hosting Rules. • Parties must be held at night |
Notes:To receive the discounts parties and staff must be preregistered. Parties may be held Friday, Saturday, or both nights. If a person that receives the party rate and does not hold a party they will be responsible for paying VISIONCON the difference in their discounted rate and the full convention rate no matter when they registered. Failure to do so will cause the offending person to be disbarred from hosting registered parties at future VISIONCONs.
Please submit your request by December 31, 2011.
We urge you to register any Room Party so that we can accommadate you better. We will provide ice, trash bags, and assure that your room is placed in the Room Party Block at the hotel. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
We will provide a 10 lb bag of ice for free. Additional ice is $2.50 per bag.

Cover your walls and floor with plastic to prevent damage from spills. |

No sleeping in the party rooms, have the beds removed* and arrange another room for sleeping. |
|
3.
|
Check all badges (Do not serve anyone with a day pass or "Minor," "Game," or "Event" badge). |

4.
|
If you plan on hosting a party that does not serve alcohol please let the hotel (and us) know, when you make your reservation, so that they can separate your room from the parties that are serving alcohol. |

5.
|
It is illegal to serve alcohol to anyone under 21 (We use wristbands to identify"adults"). |
|
6.
|
Do not let anyone into your party without a wristband. Feel free to "card" anyone. |
|
7.
|
If you see someone without a badge or wristband or with a 1 day pass or "Minor" badge please contact Visioncon security. |
|
8.
|
Do not charge for drinks. Charging for cups is fine, but not for drinks. Leaving out a "tip jar" is also acceptable. |
|
9.
|
Clean up your mess! We will provide you with one large trash bag. If you need more, just ask. |
|
10.
|
If you use the bathtub for ice and drinks, please place something in the tub to keep from damaging it. |
|
11.
|
Don't break any of the Hotel's rules. e.g. Smoking in nonsmoking rooms. |

12.
|
Don't charge admission to your party. |
*(The Clarion charges a $25.00 fee for bed removal)
Note: If while during your stay at the Clarion Hotel damages occur to your room, you are solely responsible for those damages. The Clarion Hotel has every right to ask for any compensation for said damages.
Our primary charity this year is the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
We will also be donating to CARE Animal Rescue.
