In 1992 VISIONCON was given birth by the Visionary Guild as a three day wargaming and RPG event with a masquerade contest and a few panels. Prior to that there was the VisionQuest event and prior to that Visionary Guild Game Day.
In the following years other events have come and gone, waxed and waned but gaming has always been at the core of VISIONCON. We have no intention of ever changing that. Don't get us wrong we love all of our events, activities, genres, etc, but gaming makes VISIONCON, VISIONCON.
This year we've got unbelievable gaming guests including Kevin Siembieda and Barbara and Jolly Blackburn. If you're lucky maybe we'll even be able to get them to run Rifts or Hackmaster. (hint, hint)
Frankly, if you're a gamer and you miss this year you should just hang your head in shame.
Remember, if you're not running something, you still need to register.
Our primary charity this year is the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
We will also be donating to CARE Animal Rescue.
