In 2011 we changed a lot of things, one of those things was the art show. For the past several years, we have not had a "full time" person directing the art show and it has suffered. Because of this we were forced to move the Art Show to a smaller room. Now with new direction and the return of the man that created the VISIONCON art show we are breathing new life into this keystone event.
Whether you are an artist yourself or just someone who appreciates fantasy, science fiction, horror and related art genres, Visioncon's art show has something for you. One of the 'con's longest-standing features, the art show displays work from veterans as well as new artists. In the past few years, VISIONCON has worked to bring new artists to the show, to join our cadre of longtime favorites.
If you are an artist yourself, don't be shy. Display your work at VISIONCON. You may find yourself with a new fanbase after the show.
VISIONCON patrons can purchase the artwork through the art auction, thereby decorating their home or office with a truly original piece of art.
Don't miss the VISIONCON art show; it is always free to patrons, whether or not you have purchased admission to the 'con.
If you haven't seen the VISIONCON art show lately, check it out. You might be surprised.
Our primary charity this year is the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
We will also be donating to CARE Animal Rescue.
